🌿 MAMIYA PICKLE – BRAND STORY

In the year 1978, a humble idea was born in a small corner of Tamil Nadu. Mr. Abdul Kather, a man with deep love for traditional flavours, began his journey by making Mattai Urugai—a lemon pickle wrapped in leaf—sold for just 50 paisa. With dedication and honesty, he slowly won hearts across Madurai and Ramanathapuram, carrying the authentic taste of home to families and shops.

As customers grew, so did the flavours. From simple lemon pickle, the range expanded to citron, mango, and garlic, each prepared with time-honored recipes, pure ingredients, and love.

In 1996, his son Mr. Rabik Raja (B.Sc Mathematics) stepped into the journey. With strong business understanding and modern strategies, he strengthened the brand while protecting its heritage. In 2001, he and his brother Mr. Mohamed Yasir (MCA) fully took over the company and built it into a household name across South Tamil Nadu, expanding to Nagercoil, Thoothukudi, Aranthangi, and Nagapattinam, reaching almost every shop in the region.

From just 4 classic varieties, Mamiya Pickle now proudly offers 16+ vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties, loved by families across generations. One promise sets Mamiya apart:

Tradition with Technology

Mamiya uses modern machinery for hygiene and consistency, but never compromises the ancestral recipes that define real taste. Every ingredient is selected carefully, sun-dried patiently, and blended with spices using traditional techniques.

Respecting Every Culture

Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian pickles are prepared separately, honoring the values of every customer with responsibility and respect.
